WWII Trench Art Lamp, Italian Campaign

Description

Made from a dummy US 37mm shell mounted on the base of a German 88mm shell
casing. Three inert 50 bmg rounds are attached around the base of the 88mm shell.
Mounted to the top of the 37mm projectile is a switched light socket. Engraved on the
front of the 37mm shell is “686/ORD. AMMO./CO./ITALY/1944. Very good operating
condition with 1940’s vintage wiring. Brass with minor scratches and age staining. Overall
height 16 ½” to the top of the light socket. Shade not included, but available from
Walmart for under $10. Price includes US domestic shipping.
